Golden Cages

This installation asks the place of the woman in our contemporary society through an organ: the uterus.

This organ is the symbol of the femininity and of all the feminine “functions”. The goal is that the viewer asks himself on the social question of the woman. At what point this so intimate organ, inherent in every one, in her story, becomes a “property” of the society about the problematics such as maternity, femininity or man/woman equality?
